Gyudon Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Any Beef Stir-fry (Komagire or Kiri Otoshi) ~220g
  • Half an Onion ~80g
  • 2Tbsp Water ~30ml
  • 1.5Tbsp Shoyu ~22ml
  • 1.5Tbsp Sake ~22ml
  • 1.5Tbsp Sugar ~22g
  • (Optional) Beni Shoga (Red Pickled Ginger) ~5g

Steps:

  1. Stir-fry onions until they turn translucent
  2. Add beef and sugar and cook until no longer pink
  3. Add in shoyu, sake and water
  4. Let it simmer for 2 minutes
  5. Pour over rice, garnish with beni shoga and/or onsen egg and enjoy!
